For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the job Under the overall supervision of  the Protection Manager and the direct supervision of the GBV Officer in South, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing case management and psychosocial support to women and girls and particularly gender-based violence survivors   Duties § Develop and maintain effective working relationship with relevant stakeholders including partner agencies, community leaders and service providers; § Contribute to the maintenance of an up-to-date service mapping of the service providers operating in the area and ensure that caseworkers are informed about the available services; § Receive referrals from different agencies, do action plan and appropriate response to each case; § Liaise with relevant stakeholders and advocacy to address gaps in GBV response services and referral protocols; § Work closely with the child protection section when GBV cases involve child survivors, particularly when assessing best interest of the child; ·         Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the GBV Senior caseworker or by the Protection Manager. File and store GBV data in the gender-based violence information management system(GBV IMS) in compliance with the information sharing protocol developed at the inter-agency level; Support the development of age-appropriate and needs-driven recreational, educational and skills-building activities for women and girls in safe spaces through coordination with relevant actors (DRC community development section and implementing partners).     About you To be successful in this role you must have § Bachelor/Degree in Social work, Counseling, psychology or other related field;  § Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of client at all times; § Ability to provide technical support, trainings and supervision of GBV case workers; § Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility. § Flexibility in working overtime when needed; § Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel);   We offer An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a six month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work asap and be willing and able to work in South. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
