Cash Program Officer - Beirut

  We are looking for a highly qualified candidate that is willing to engage in our organization as a Cash Program Officer. Who are we?DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects. Duties•Prepare Loading Requests of ATM cards to be loaded based on submissions from the field offices (validated by the Direct Assistance Coordinator) and  Information Management team in the bank loading format;•Act as liaison with the bank for any issues that arise in relation to the ATM cards, in close coordination with the national Cash and Livelihoods  Coordinator (who is the focal point for decisions taken with CSC Bank);•Follow up any issues with beneficiaries’ ATM cards, such as blocked, lost, stolen or swallowed cards with the Distribution Manager and the field cash admin assistants, including compiling the weekly card management logs from the field;•Conduct visits to the DRC offices in Tripoli, Qobayat and Baalbek to support and build the capacity of the Cash Program Assistants;•Consolidate monthly reports from the bank and DRC database (statistics on card status), as requested/directed by the Head of Finance and    Administration and the Cash and Livelihoods Coordinator; About youTo be successful in this role you must have a Bachelor Degree in related field, experience in administration and at least 6 months experience working in a bank, or with an NGO on a cash or NFI program. In addition to that, it is obligatory to be a proficient user in Microsoft Excel (formulas, formatting, create tables and reports). Ideally you will also have worked in a bank or financial context and have the ability to speak, write and type both English and Arabic. We offerAn interesting job in one of the best NGO’s in the world.
