The main focus of today’s efforts in Lebanon is to help the hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, who have fled across the border to find protection from the conflict in their homeland. DRC is simultaneously maintaining the efforts toward the vulnerable groups of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the jobUnder the direct supervision of the Head of Office in your area of responsibility and the technical guidance of the CSMC Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, technical and financial monitoring and reporting of all DRC's operations in collective settlements . Duties• Supervise, monitor and support the CSMC Project Officers, Field Assistants and volunteers teams .• Identify new opportunities consistent with the approved CSMC strategy and ongoing activities. Recommend improvements whenever appropriate. • Manage financial, administrative and logistical aspects of the programme and identify, train and supervise staff in accordance with DRC’s internal procedures and regulations.• Ensure that appropriate safety and security procedures related to the protection of DRC staff, its assets and operations are respected. Ensure that all relevant security information is properly disseminated•  Perform such other duties as may be assigned.  About youTo be successful in this role you must have:• completed first's degree from an accredited academic institution, preferably in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, Migration Studies, International Relations and/or Law;• 3 years of experience in the field of humanitarian interventions in emergency and post-crisis environments, humanitarian assistance.• demonstrated expertise in the thematic area, strong leadership and coordination management experience We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a contract until the end of December 2015, contract renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be willing and able to work in Kobayat and in wadi Khaled -Akkar.s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level D1, equivalent to USD 2,015$ per month (basic salary).
