Danish Refugee Council is advertising for an experienced and capable CSMC, who is able to undertake the responsibility of the implementation, technical and financial monitoring and reporting of all DRC's operations in collective settlements located in his/her area of responsibility.
Who are we?DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.Since May 2011 , DRC has been actively involved in the Lebanon emergency response to the Syrian crisis with presence in the North , East (Bekaa valley ) and South of Lebanon. . The DRC response is designed around 4 majors sectors: Food /NFI distribution, Protection , Shelter and livelihood support . As such , DRC is positioned in Lebanon as a main implementing partner of UNHCR , UNICEF , WFP , ECHO and DANIDA , implying a rapid expansion of its program and structure.

Duties- Supervise, monitor and support the work of the CSMC team (from 5 to 10 staff). Manage the financial, administrative and logistical aspects of the CSMC activities and build staff capacity in accordance with DRC’s internal procedures and regulations;- Implement care and maintenance of collective sites under DRC’s responsibility(including cash for work activities); - Monitor and assess the displacement situation, the level of services provided in collective sites and carry out refugee profiling;- Identify Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) or other relevant external stakeholders in your area of intervention and built synergies to ensure that refugees have access to the required level of protection and assistance;- Organize CSMC related training events for local authorities ,humanitarian partners, refugees representatives, community members and other stakeholders as required;- Assist in strengthening both refugee and host community response capacity;- Provide direct assistance through NFI distribution and unconditional cash assistance.
About youTo be successful in this role you must have a relevant degree from an accredited academic institution, preferably in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, Migration Studies, International Relations and/or Law; three years of experience (or five years of experience for candidates holding a first level university degree) in the field of humanitarian programme development and management including operational and field experience; substantial experience in emergency and post-crisis environments, in addition to conflict and post-conflict zones and CCCM response; experience in liaising with governmental authorities, other national/international institutions; demonstrating good knowledge of UN and NGO mandates and programmes in the humanitarian responses, refugees, post conflict construction and development
