Implementation And follow up of CDC related projects
Duties
• Conduct FGDs and to assess POC’s needs and interests;
• Develop, plan and organize courses and activities responding to the beneficiaries’ needs;
• Supervise and monitor all the community centre activities,
• Attend the activities, trainings and courses to evaluate the performance of the trainers and the satisfaction of the beneficiaries;
• Provide constant feedback to his/her supervisor on progress, lessons learnt, achievements, gaps, issues and problems;
• Responsible of developing and filing all documents related to the centre, partner and beneficiaries’ (ex: TOR, MOU, attendance sheets, minutes of meetings, evaluations, beneficiaries’ files, reports, pictures etc.);
• Participate in the Community Development Centres management meetings on monthly basis;
• Evaluate constantly the quality of the services provided in the Community Development Centres by conducting evaluation exercises with beneficiaries, trainers, centre staff and establish a proper complaints mechanism;
About you
To be successful in this role you must have, University Degree; preferably related to social work, Minimum 2 years of work experience in humanitarian or relevant
_Experience in community mobilization activities,
-Experience in performing assessment activities,
-Experience in working with local authorities a and Technical background or expertise in Shelter and WASH sectors.
Ideally you will also have an Excellent interpersonal and reporting skills , Good communication and organizational skills
We offer
An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from February 2016 and be willing and able to work in Kobayat Akkar.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level C1, equivalent to 1650 USD Only per month.
