Who are we
DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

About the job
Coordinate and supervise all community centre activities in T-5.
General Duties
Facilitate the establishment and support the functioning of center’s Committees related to all community service areas.
Follow up the adequate maintenance of side infrastructure, the agreed delivery of services and protection by all partners. Coordinate and advocate with other partners when gaps or duplication are identified.
Organize and conduct Collective Centre management meetings and ensure the regular presence of community representatives and any other relevant actor.
Follow up on identification and relocation of the displaced in the Collective Centre.
Strengthen the partner’s capacity and hand it over the center’s management.
Organize and ensure a timely, proper written weekly reporting and report daily if needed on problems faced;
Organize administrative/financial/logistics matters related to the collective shelter management activities.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have University degree; preferably related to social work, minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, experience in development projects or community mobilization
Ideally you will also have Experience in emergency work is a plus, experience with INGO (advantage)
We offer
An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from 1-July-2014 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level C1, equivalent to basic salary of $ 1505 per month in addition to transportation and communication allowances.
