We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated candidate to support the functioning of collective centre committees with a particular attention to vulnerable groups and/or persons Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk Duties• Represent DRC with stakeholders in the field and Collective Sites residents;• Mobilize the participation of the community in the daily life of the Collective Site;• Contribute to the establishment and support the functioning of Collective Sites committees with a particular attention to vulnerable groups and/or persons;• Conduct assessment in order to  identify needs and concerns of different population groups;• Identify gaps, problems and vulnerable cases in their area of responsibilities and report to the CSMC Officer;• Support with drafting of weekly reports.• Contribute to organizing administrative/financial  matters related to the collective sites management activities;• Follow – up on procurement and payments related to Collective Sites. About youTo be successful in this role you must have university degree; preferably related to social work. As well, minimum 2 years of work experience in humanitarian or relevant field. Ideally you will also have Experience in managing community centers or community mobilization activities; Experience in Protection activities. We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from Mid of August and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
