We are looking for a highly qualified Collective Site Management and Coordination Officer to provide an efficient work for the implementation of all DRC's operations in collective sites located in his/her area of responsibility. Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the jobUnder the overall supervision of the head of office and the direct supervision of the CSMC (Collective Site Management and Coordination) Programme Manager in Tripoli, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of all DRC's operations in collective sites located in his/her area of responsibility. Duties• Facilitate the establishment and support the functioning of Committees in collective sites;• Ensure equal participation of women as well as different age groups in all processes;• Ensure the establishment of mechanism for regular discussion with refugees to fully understand their needs and concerns as well as gender roles, resource sharing, ownership and decision-making practice;• Guarantee timely update of all databases and matrixes related to collective sites activities;• Ensure proper collection of feedbacks on gaps and needs through regular meetings and/or monitoring checklists as instructed;• Guarantee continuos coordination with relevant agencies when gaps or duplication are identified;• Develop and update Collective Site profiles, containing relevant information about the settlement and the basic services provided there; • Follow up on identification of refugee households to be relocated into the Collective Centres with a focus on ensuring timely allocation of empty housing units;• Ensure that all logistical and support arrangement are in place for successful daily operations;• Contribute to development of regular CS reports to be shared with relevant stakeholders; About youTo be successful in this role you must have a Master degree  preferably in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, Migration Studies, International Relations and/or Law; 2 year of experience in the field of humanitarian interventions in emergency and post-crisis environments, humanitarian assistance, human rights; b) demonstrated expertise in community mobilization and/or development projects; demonstrated experience in external coordination; demonstrated experience in information management. Ideally you will also have Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, other national/international institutions; e) demonstrates good knowledge of UN and NGO mandates and programmes in the humanitarian responses, refugees, post conflict construction and development; previous experience in CCCM/CSMC is an asset. We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a six months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from the 1st of February 2015 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
