DRC is inviting local candidates to apply for the position of CSP (Community Support Projects) Officer, to support its activities. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the job To work within a team of highly motivated people and an organization dedicated to provide assistance to refugees and other affected groups in south Lebanon, through the implemention of all Community Support Projects activities.   Duties Establish committees, train them and design projects based on the needs; municipalities, community representatives and youth (maintaining gender balance) Represent DRC with stakeholders in the field such as local authorities, community representatives, displaced individuals; Assist the community empowerment and livelihood manager in designing the community  needs assessments  in accordance with DRC guidelines Develop, plan and organize trainings/ workshops with facilitated dialogue and meetings between municipalities and community members; Conduct monitoring visit to ensure the timely and properly implementation of the Community Support Projects; Provide constant feedback to his/her supervisor on progress, lessons learnt, achievements, gaps, issues and problems;   Prepare and insure the implementation of the daily/weekly/monthly work plan, in coordination with the CELM; Prepare all contracts, documents and payments of CSPs; Submit weekly and monthly reports according to DRC reporting system and according to his/her supervisor’s instructions;   About you To be successful in this role you must have a University degree or advanced degree in social studies, economics, community development, or social entrepreneurship; Political and cultural awareness; and at least 2 years of proven international/or local experience in Community Empowerment and Livelihoods;   Preferred qualifications: Proven communication, interpersonal, representation, negotiation, promotion and diplomacy skills; specifically with Local partners and authorities. Preferred experience: Familiarity with community-based programming and ability to incorporate lessons learned from similar experiences;   We offer An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 Month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from December 1st and be willing and able to work in South. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level C1, equivalent to 1,505 USD per month.   Commitments DRC has a Humanitarian Accountability Framework, outlining its global accountability commitments.
