Direct Assistance Assistant - Baalbek (Part Time)

We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Direct Assistance Assistant for the DRC Field Office in North Bekaa.   Who are we? DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects. Duties Attend all distribution activities Search for displaced Syrians’ data in wavemaker database  Modify or add data to beneficiaries profile Register assisted beneficiaries in distribution list Manage conflicts when they arise and always find solutions Monitor and evaluate on going distribution and voucher activities and report on unmet needs and gaps About you To be successful in this role you must have social work experiences and be able to work under pressure. In addition, flexibility in terms of working hours and working locations is essential. As for the language, both English and Arabic are mandatory in speaking and typing. You must be available to start work from 15th November 2014 and be willing and able to work in North Bekaa (Baalbeck).
