About the job
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
• Actively participate in the organization and implementation of the regular E-card distribution cycles in Akkar area, handle data entry for beneficiaries targeted in the distribution program and refer vulnerable cases identified during the distribution process to the protection department.
• Deal with complaints or issue related to distribution/cards during the distribution and through distribution hotline.
• Deliver of training sessions during the distribution session on the usage / type and modality of assistance.
• Conduct household assessment visits for beneficiaries included and excluded from the program assistance and regular monitoring visits for shops and service provider and access points like ATM and Liban Post
• Organize Focus Groups Discussions to collect qualitative data on activities implemented in the distribution department.
• Support the senior distribution officer in drafting analysis report for the FGDs collected in the program.
• Deliver training and mentoring sessions for local organization and local authorities’ staff as part of the capacity building program.
• Participate in the emergency response program of DRC and ensure availability to participate in adhoc emergency response activity upon the need
• Participate in the data collection mainly Rapid needs assessment and the delivery of assistance in the geographical areas covered by DRC in North Lebanon.
• Ensure timely reporting for any emergency situation to DRC emergency response focal point and senior distribution officer.
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have a university degree related to this position.
Moreover, we also expect the following:
Required
• 2years of experience as Distribution
• Bachelor Degree in social science, business administration or any other relevant field
• Previous work experience in emergency context
• Computer Skills: Intermediate level in MS Word and Excel
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills mainly with refugees
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility in terms of working hours and working locations
Desirable
• Previous experience with DRC/NGOs

We offer
Contract length: 31 December 2018, pending funds approval
Level: B, equivalent to 1250$ (monthly basic salary)
Duty Station: Akkar
Start date: First of January 2018
