E-Card Follow Up Management Assistant- Tripoli

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to assist refugees contacting the DRC hotline and provide key messages and information regarding DRC service to refugees calling the hotline. Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dkAbout the jobAssist refugees contacting the DRC hotline and Provide key messages and information regarding DRC service to refugees calling the hotline. Duties• Handle the hotline on a daily basis from Monday to Friday / 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.• Provide information on services available to refugees in Tripoli – T5, and enable referrals to services, by taking down the necessary information and making the referral to protection colleagues or partners.• Keep records of all inquiries, update the daily statistics, and follow up on all referrals made to DRC program managers on a weekly basis. • Maintain confidentiality and protection of beneficiary information.• Provide regular reports and statistical data to the M&E Manager on a weekly basis. About you• To be successful in this role you must have Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience – preferably in social work, community development, non-government, and/or outreach organizations; Undergraduate degree in social sciences, humanities, quantitative/qualitative research methods, public health, or related field; • Ideally you will also have: Experience working with communities, families and individuals with special needs; experience using survey and/or database software and tools; experience working in a call-center and/or helpdesk position. You must be available to start work from April 2014 and be willing and able to work in Tripoli.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
