For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the job Conduct daily coordination with the Focal Points, volunteers and the implementing partners and assisting partner NGO in reporting implemented activities including Carrying out daily field visits to monitor the assessment and distribution procedures.   Duties Closely coordinate with relevant staff on project implementation Coordinate Focal Points and Volunteers efforts in the New Comers identification process Establish and Organize New Comers desks in the different areas of responsibilities Monitor the distribution procedures implemented by the local partner NGO Maintain Excel database and ensure that statistics and other reports are produced and submitted in a timely manner Assist in the coordination of the logistics for the procurement and distribution of assistance materials Assist in the coordination of the logistics for the partner capacity building workshops Maintain positive relations with local implementing actors, local authorities and other local and international stakeholders Present daily field visit reports (on major findings, needs, challenges faced, etc.)   About you To be successful in this role you must have Bachelor/Degree in Social work, political science, law or other related field;  Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of Refugees at all times; Experience in working in a difficult security environment preferable Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility. Flexibility in working overtime when needed; Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel); Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well Ability to engage with community members in an open manner, maintain confidentiality and respect. Fluency in the Arabic and English languages - both spoken and written   We offer An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a six month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work asap and be willing and able to work in South. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level B1, equivalent to 1,180 USD per month.   Commitments DRC has a Humanitarian Accountability Framework, outlining its global accountability commitments.
