External Auditor

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate that has the skills to engage in our organization as an External Auditor. Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.Since May 2011, DRC has been actively involved in the Lebanon emergency response to the Syrian crisis with presence in the North, East (Bekaa valley ) and South of Lebanon. . The DRC response is designed around 4 majors sectors: Food /NFI distribution, Protection, Shelter and livelihood support. As such, DRC is positioned in Lebanon as a main implementing partner of UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, ECHO and DANIDA, implying a rapid expansion of its program and structure. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk Duties • Determine whether DRC Lebanon is providing good value for money in its program implementation.• Audit the whole financial project, duties include :1. Extraction of vouchers,2. Auditing the last financial report with TDLs,3. Check voucher invoices, 4. Income provided by the World Bank,5. Adherence to DRC policy and procedures, 6. Asset list,7. Checking original invoices, agreements, bids analysis,8. Preparing audit report. About you• Advanced financial or audit qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA Finance.• Full proficiency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.• At least 3 years’ experience working as an auditor, preferably including experience in an internal audit function and in the NGO sector.• Working experience with World Bank guidelines.
