Finance Assistant- South

For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk   Duties Daily accounting (bookkeeping) according to DRC financial handbook Prepare and submit monthly ledgers to the Finance Officer Manage office's petty cash Prepare monthly cash counts Maintain proper filing of all financial documents (vouchers, contracts, tender documents, etc.) Cash box counting according to DRC financial handbook Per Diem account for the staff when needed Scanning office financial documents on a monthly basis and other office work as per instructions.   About you To be successful in this role you must have University degree in Accounting or related area NGO experience Minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience Good computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Accuracy and reliability Proven ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines Personal commitment, flexibility, efficiency Well-developed organizational and planning skills We offer An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a six month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work asap and be willing and able to work in South. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
