The Danish Refugee Council has worked in Lebanon since September 2004, and the programs have followed the country’s needs and progress. The main focus of today’s efforts in Lebanon is to help the hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees, who have fled across the border to find protection from the conflict in their homeland. DRC is simultaneously maintaining the efforts toward the vulnerable groups of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. More than 200.000 Syrian refugees have received assitance from the Danish Refugee Council since the beginning of the crisis. For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the job Under the supervision of the Finance & Admin Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Monthly Financial prevision and report to Beirut for financial issues in collaboration Duties Verifying application of DRC buying procedures for Qoubayat office’s payments; Responsible for the monthly financial prevision and assure sufficient funds to be transferred from Beirut for activities in the bank account for Qoubayat office; Responsible for the correct filing of monthly vouchers and sending them to Beirut; Bank and payments-to cashbook reconciliation; coordinate with the FAM and AO to obtain a synchronized and efficient working environment; Ensure proper bookkeeping of payments according to DRC donor’s coding.  About you To be successful in this role you must have: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related fields Proven ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines; Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel) Minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience. Fluency in English and Arabic  Ideally you will also have: Master Degrees in Accounting or related fields Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility; Previous experience in Finance work in INGOs We offer An interesting job in one of theworld’s best NGOs.
