Immunity Support Projects (Csp) Assistant - Baalbek

We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated CSP (Community Support Projects) Assistant for the DRC Field Office in North Bekaa. Who are we? DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects. Duties Raise awareness about the CSP initiative and mobilizing communities actors to submit proposals; Establish committees, train them and design projects based on the needs in coordination with CSP Officer; Conduct need assessments with host and refugee communities including municipalities, community representatives and youth (maintaining gender balance) in coordination with CSP Officer; Conduct FGDs with host and refugee communities to identify common priorities for a particular area in coordination with CSP Officer; Assist applicants in project design and the submission process; Once projects are approved, supply resources (procure and deliver materials) and support applicants in implementing projects Inform communities of project value—both monetary and social impact--and provide regular updates on all expenditure on projects to CSP Officer;  Ensure full accountability to communities (and DRC) of the use of project funds; Create work plans (daily and weekly) and report updates on progress of all projects on a regular basis and a final monitoring report upon completion; Monitor project implementation on a regular basis and participate in periodic reviews of the program, providing support where needed; Evaluate performance and quality of interventions and provide constant feedbacks;  Assist in preparation for an evaluation report about the different projects within the AOR highlighting strengths, weaknesses, achievements, issues for all projects implemented and implementer’s capacity; Provide constant feedback to his/her supervisor on progress, lessons learnt, achievements, gaps, issues and problems; Take responsibility of data entry for all the documents; Keep soft and hard records of all procurement contracts (services, goods, works) related to his/her sector of responsibility in collaboration with the CSP Officer. About you – Essential skills/experience Essential qualifications: High School Diploma Essential experience: Minimum 2 years experience in similar field. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor Degree in social field. Preferred experience: Experience with NGO and Experience in development projects or community mobilization. Languages: Arabic, Strong command in English written and spoken. We offer An interesting job in one of the best NGO’s in the world. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from 20th of November 2014 and be willing and able to work in North Bekaa (Baalbek).
