Who are we?
DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.
DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

About the job
The Information Management support officer is responsible for the coordination, support and follow up of DRC and partner organisations’ Referral Information Management System (RIMS) related activities. The officer is also responsible of providing support for the development and rollout of the system’s governance tools and policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the development of the RIMS Data protection and management policy as well as partner data sharing agreements through conducting research and coordinating with the deputy head of programme on the drafting.
• Lead on follow up with partners on administrative details such as setting up and scheduling training, signing of data sharing agreements, gathering feedback and communicating challenges and issues to be addressed by DRC IM team and management.
• At the direction and in coordination with the line manager, produce written/visual support materials to ensure adequate documentation of design process and core functions – for non-technical audiences;
• Coordinate and support the development of the user’s guide for the RIMS.
• Produce monthly reports on the developments of the RIMS implementation.
• Other duties as agreed with line manager in line with objectives above and weekly work plans;
About you
To be successful in this role you must have: Bachelor degree in information management, business management or other related fields.

Required qualifications
• Good decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
• Good verbal and written communication skills (English and Arabic);
• One to three years’ experience as an IM, admin or program officer;
• Experience in humanitarian/development sector.
We offer
DRC will offer the successful applicant a contract until 15th of December 2017, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from August 2017 and be willing and able to work in Beirut.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for Nationals; please refer to www.drc.ngo under Vacancies. This position will be placed at level C. Monthly Basic Salary 1699 USD.
