Interview Assistant

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate that has the skills to engage in our organization as an Interview Assistant.Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. Since May 2011, DRC has been actively involved in the Lebanon emergency response to the Syrian crisis with presence in the North, East (Bekaa valley) and South of Lebanon. The DRC response is designed around 4 majors sectors: Food /NFI distribution, Protection, Shelter and livelihood support. As such, DRC is positioned in Lebanon as a main implementing partner of UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, ECHO and DANIDA, For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the jobForms filling for Syrian refugee households / individuals referred and contacted by the partner. Duties• Conduct form filling in compliance with questionnaires and guidelines provided and requested by the Partner,• Fill in the information provided by interviewees in the designated template,• Complete files with requested documents for each interviewee, • Participate in daily reporting to the information officer ensuring data confidentiality and security,• Ensure confidential data collection and storage through standardized practices complying with International minimum standards,• Participate in debriefing sessions with the Country Project Manager and the team, • When needed, refer to DRC programme, using DRC internal or interagency referral form, all vulnerable cases that are in need of specific assistance during their displacement in the host country. About youTo be successful in this role you must have:A. Essential qualifications: a. Graduated in Social Work, Human Rights or any protection related studies,b. National staff, B. Essential experience:c. Experienced in conducting interviews, in particular assessment or monitoring exercises, as part of refugee-focused projects,d. Experienced in International or local NGO work; Arabic native speaker,e. Fluent in English,f. Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of client at all times,g. Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint), We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 3 months  contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from Decmeber 2015 and be willing and able to work in Beirut.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
