We are looking for a very motivated candidate,who can fit the position of Leaders Consortium Baseline Consultant in DRC Lebanon Office
Who are we?
Danish refugee council has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.
DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

In Bekaa you will find one of the most historical places in the world such as the Baalbak temple. It is also a safe and relaxing environment but at the same time very close to Beirut.
About the job
The main objective for the proposed Scope of Work is to enable the project to assess the situation and establish bench mark indicators to inform the monitoring and evaluation plan and form a platform for the impact evaluation. Furthermore, the baseline is expected to enable accurate targeting, and the ability to quantifiably measure and attribute impact.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Determine the baseline values for all impact and outcome level performance indicators in the targeted program locations.
• Suggest if indicators need to be revised at this stage
• Develop a theory of change for the project based on desk review
• Analyze the data that is collected by both DRC and Oxfam
• Determine if additional data needs to be collected and coordinate with the field teams to collect it
• Develop a cohesive synthesized report
• Update the LFA based on the baseline values determined through the analysis

To be successful in this role you must have Knowledge of research processes and demonstrable skills in data analysis

Required qualifications
• Advanced research degree
• Experience with using data to establish baselines/endlines.
Desirable qualifications
• Experience with quantitative data analysis for humanitarian organizations
• Experience with evaluation
• Master Degree in statistics, international development or other relevant field
We offer
DRC will offer the successful applicant aconsultancycontract;youmust be available to start work as soon as possible since the interviews will be on a rolling basis.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for consultants; the consultant is expected to work for 8 working days only. Daily rate will be based on the consultants salary scale.
