Duties• Regularly carry out post-distribution monitoring household surveys in South Lebanon area;• Regularly undertake field monitoring trips to conduct interviews, focus group discussions, and other data collection methods;• Conduct participatory monitoring activities with beneficiaries to get information and feedback on the quality and relevance of assistance;• Assist with all other duties as required by the M&E Officer in part with any other administrative or logistical tasks;• Maintain positive relations with local implementing actors and local authorities; and• Maintain professional image of DRC. About youTo be successful in this role you must have• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience – preferably in social work, community development, non-government, and/or outreach organizations;• Undergraduate degree/advanced diploma in social sciences, humanities, quantitative/qualitative research methods, public health, or related field OR high school diploma with significant professional experience;• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and a strong team spirit;• Good knowledge of local context and community in Tyre and surrounding areas;• Languages: Fluency (native speaker) in written and spoken Arabic; and good working knowledge of written and spoken English.• IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office suite (Excel experience preferred) or other database software; We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a six month contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work asap and be willing and able to work in South.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff.
