We are looking for a highly qualified candidate that has the skills to engage in our organization as a Payroll Officer.
Who are weDRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

Duties• Responsible for payroll management, in close liaison with HR and Admin Manager• Enroll the 2016 HR System (yet to be selected)• Finalize payroll system’s calculation, in coordination with field offices and submit it to finance on a monthly basis• Draw up monthly pay slips for all staff, editing and updating the necessary data, in order to ensure the punctuality and accuracy of staff payroll• Prepare budget allocation on a monthly basis for each staff, in coordination with the finance teams at the field and in Beirut• Enroll employees in NSSF & the MoF and prepare necessary documentation (employee registration and separation, R1-R4 forms), in close coordination with DRC Lawyer• Prepare NSSF and MoF declarations(For staff, government, and finance)• Follows up on NSSF and MoF payments and ensure it is done in a timely manner to avoid penalties
About youTo be successful in this role you must have Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Finance and good understanding in the Lebanese Labor Law. 4-5years’ experience in managing payrolls, Human Resource Information systems, and NSSF for large numbers of staff is essential. Written English and Arabic proficiency is required.
Ideally you will also have professional experience with INGOs/NGOs and/or international experience is a plus; interest in humanitarian field is preferred.
We offerAn interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from January 2016 and be willing and able to work in Beirut.Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level C1, equivalent to 1607 USD per month.
