Programme Support Assistant (Distribution) (Part Time)

Recruiting a motivated and qualified Programme Support Assistant to support DRC distribution and basic assistance program in Akkar. This position will be a part-time role, the selected candidate is expected to work between two and eight days per month (depending on the programmatic need), Working days will be specified on a monthly basis.​

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Actively participate in the organization and implementation of the regular E-card distribution cycles in Akkar area. 

• Support the  Programme Support Team Leader (PTSL) in the preparation of distribution consolidated reports. 

• Refer vulnerable cases identified during the distribution process to the protection and other departments. 

• Deal with complaints or issues related to distribution/cards during the distribution and through distribution hotline. 

• Deliver  training sessions during the distribution on the usage / type and modality of assistance. 

• Assist in the management of distribution site before, during and after every distribution cycle.​

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have a High School diploma or to be a fresh graduate. Moreover, we also expect the following:​

Required

• Work or volunteer experience in the field of distribution or emergency response is essential 

• Previous experience with INGOs or local NGOS is highly desirable, preferably in Distribution, Food Security or related sectors 

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills mainly with refugees 

• Flexibility in terms of working hours and working locations 

• Good communication, interpersonal and listening skills 

• Computer Skills: Intermediate level in MS Word and Excel 

• Arabic(fluent), English (good)​

Desirable

• Bachelor University degree is a plus, preferably related to international development, economics, business, education or social sciences​

We offer

  • Contract length: until end of December 2019 
  • Band: I Level 1  
  • Monthly Basic Salary: 1350$,  78274.04LBP/per day. (depending on years on experience) 
  • Duty Station: Akkar 
  • Start date: May 2019​
