Who are we?
Danish refugee council has been operatingin the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.
DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects.

Supervision of case management and psycho-social support to women and children with a focus on gender-based violence survivors and victims of childs violations
Duties and Responsibilities
Staff supervision
• Supervise GBV and CP caseworkers (hitherto referred to as caseworkers) and support caseworkers through the provision of technical guidance. Ensure that staff implement and respect best-practice and international standards in GBV and CP response in coordination with the Protection manager
• Monitor staff working hours, complete performance review with staff, ensure respect of DRC Code of Conduct
Grant implementation and reporting
• Produce monthly reports and support the Manager in submitting internal and donor reports as per schedule
• Monthly monitor of the efficient and accurate updating of the CP case management database. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly work plans in a timely manner
Coordination and representation
• Develop and maintain effective working relationship with relevant stakeholders including partner agencies, community leaders and service providers
• Receive referrals from different agencies assign and follow-up on action plans
• Act as inter-agency focal point of the CP and GBV case management hubs, receive and respond to case management referrals
Technical support
• Ensure all CP caseworkers are familiar, practice and adhere to the Child Protection Minimum Standards and the National CP Case Management SOPs
About you
To be successful in this role you must have:Bachelor degree in social work, Counselling, psychology or other related field

Required qualifications
1. Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non discrimination and safety of client at all times
2. Ability to provide technical support, trainings and supervison of GBV and CP caseworkers
3. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
4. flexibility in working overtime when needed
5. Fluency in arabic required, ability to communicate and write clearly in english strongly is preffered.
6. at least 3-4 years of experience in counseling survivors of gender base violence or vulnerable women and girls/ and or in CP case management
Desirable qualifications
• Master degree in Social work and or psychology
• Previous experience in international organizations and humanitarian settings
• Previous experience working with syrian refugees in lebanon
We offer
DRC will offer the successful applicant a 11 month’s contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from February 2017 and be willing and able to work in Bekaa.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for Expatriates and Nationals; please refer to www.drc.ngo under Vacancies. This position will be placed at level C+1 equivalent to USD 1850.
