Senior Management Team (Smt) Assistant

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who has the skills to engage in our organization. Who are we? DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. Since May 2011, DRC has been actively involved in the Lebanon emergency response to the Syrian crisis with presence in the North, East (Bekaa valley) and South of Lebanon. The DRC response is designed around 4 majors sectors: Food /NFI distribution, Protection, Shelter and livelihood support. As such, DRC is positioned in Lebanon as a main implementing partner of UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, ECHO and DANIDA, For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk Duties• To coordinate a systematic follow up on the initiatives and tasks agreed in the weekly SMT,  the bimonthly ESMT and monthly Programme meetings • To systematically document the decision making processes in the different management fora• To conduct research, gather information and prepare summaries and analyses as required by the SMT• To organize meetings in the Senior Management, both SMT and ESMT, including agendas and minute taking• To ensure transparency of senior management structures and decision making processes in the SMT and in the ESMT• To update and coordinate the task list of the SMT and ESMT on a regular basis• To follow up with those assigned responsibility to ensure that the tasks agreed are achieved according to the agreed deadline• To draft Recommendations for Decisions to the Senior Management of DRC Lebanon on behalf of the SMT and ESMT• To participate in meetings and workshops organized at the country level, including agendas and minute taking• To manage the Country electronic file sharing space About you To be successful in this role you must have A university degree in a relevant field, such as international development, international relations, political science, social science or business administration. You must be available to start from June 2015 and be willing and able to work in Beirut. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Term's of Employment for National Staff.
