For further information about DRC, please refer to our website: www.drc.dk About the job To work within a team of highly motivated people and an organization dedicated to provide assistance to refugees and other affected groups in south Lebanon, through identifying, assessing and rehabilitating preexisting unfinished or uninhabited buildings in collaboration with local actors and authorities, and undertaking other construction activities in support of DRC program.   Duties Identify potential structures to be used as collective shelters or small shelter units Identify empty lands to set up shelter boxes. implement daily / weekly / monthly site visits and monitor rehabilitation works Participate in selection of shelter materials, suppliers and skilled labours Negotiate agreements with landlords, municipalities focal points, contractors  and suppliers Manage contractors on site and daily report to the Shelter Officer Assist shelter officer in reporting of activities Perform other assignments as foreseen by Shelter Officer   About you To be successful in this role you must have Have Technical Degree in architect, civil or other related field of study Have good design experiences. Demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Be native Arabic, and Good in English (writing and speaking) 1 to 2 years, working in the construction field (experience with non-governmental organizations is Preferable)   We offer An interesting job in one of the best NGO’s in the world.
