Social Safety Net Junior Assistant- Baalbeck

We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Social Safety Net Junior Assistant for the DRC Field Office in North Bekaa. Who are we?DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan.DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects. Duties• Handle DRC hotline on a daily basis from Monday to Friday / 9 am to 5 pm• Respond to refugees phone calls and orientate them upon their needs• Provide key messages mainly on Social Safety Net and other programs whenever needed• Keep record of all hotline cases, register information and manage the registry book• Prepare and submit a daily, weekly and monthly report• Participate in relevant meetings on Social Safety Net process and other hotline/referral mechanisms• Responsible for refugee data and documents collection on a monthly basis• Coordinate the Social Safety Net referral system with other organizations and UN agencies About youTo be successful in this role you must have NGO work experiences and be able to work under pressure. In addition, flexibility in terms of working hours is essential. As for the language, both English and Arabic are mandatory in speaking and typing.
