Video Production Consultancy

Video Production  Location: All relevant areas of DRC operations, Lebanon Duration: 25 days Number: 5 short videos (4mins*1, 2mins*4) Rationale: DRC Lebanon is the largest international NGO operating in Lebanon, with one of the largest reaches, assisting very large numbers of the populations most affected by displacement. Voted number 1 humanitarian agency in the world in 2013, DRC has many positive examples of humanitarian good practice. Communication of these positive achievements in Lebanon has been limited to date. In order to better communicate the work of DRC Lebanon to the general public, donors, and the international community, 5 videos should be produced, documenting the various key areas of work, while highlighting DRC’s commitment to humanitarian principles. Objectives: Increase awareness about DRC programming in Lebanon amongst Lebanese and the international community through video.   Outputs: Produce one short video featuring all thematic areas of DRC Lebanon’s work as a promotional piece which provides high level information for global consumption. Produce four short informative videos on key aspects of DRC Lebanon’s programming appropriate for sharing with donors, international community, Lebanese population, and all other interested parties. Methodology: Research (meetings with DRC staff, writing scripts, background research) Filming Editing Skills and experience: Proven experience in high quality short video/documentary production Significant understanding of DRC Lebanon’s activities, profile and communications needs Significant understanding of the humanitarian field Professional equipment (or access to).
