DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade , running a combination of livelihood , protection ,advocacy and relief projects .DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq,Syria , Tunisia/Libya , Turkey , and both a country and regional office in Jordan .
Since May 2011 , DRC has been actively involved in the Lebanon emergency response to the Syrian crisis with presence in the North , East (Bekaa valley ) and South of Lebanon. . The DRC response is designed around 4 majors sectors :Food /NFI distribution , Protection , Shelter and livelihood support . As such , DRC is positioned in Lebanon as a main implementing partner of UNHCR , UNICEF , WFP , ECHO and DANIDA , implying a rapid expansion of its programme and structure.

About the job
You have to handle the daily physical operation of the Bekaa Warehouse, loading, off loading of items, quality/quantity check by working in morning/afternoon shifts
Duties
Daily assistance to the supervision of the Bekaa Warehouse casual labourers
Assist in proper stocking taking of commodities according to DRC Operations Handbook Chapter 18.
Informs the Bekaa Warehouse Supervisor of any change of quality of commodities in stock.
Assist in the keeping of detailed and accurate stock records and stock reporting
Assist in on time loading/unloading of commodities;
Assist in keeping stocks separate for each delivery/donor;
Assist in ensuring that physical stock matches the Bin Cards at all times;
Maintaining standards on health and safety, hygiene and security in the Warehouse.
Understand and ensure the observance of the DRC Code of Conduct.
Other duties as deemed necessary by the Bekaa Warehouse Supervisor.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have good communication and computer skills, to be a proven team leader, and you must have 2 years experience in working in a warehouse/supply chain/logistics, in addition to being fluent in Arabic and English.
Ideally you will also have Logistics/Warehouse Certificate , supervisory experience and ngo experience
We offer
An interesting job in one of the world’s best NGOs. DRC will offer the successful applicant a 6 months contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work from april 15th, and be willing and able to work in Central and West Bekaa.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National staff. This position will be placed at level B1, equivalent to 1180 $ per month.
