Communication Expert

 Purpuse of the position

The Communication Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing the project's communication strategy to effectively disseminate information, raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and promote the project's objectives and achievements. The Communication Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all platforms and to target audiences.

Key responsabilities and tasks:

• • Develop communication plans, including timelines, activities, and resource requirements.
  • Identify target audiences and tailor communication messages and channels accordingly.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Develop engaging and informative content for various communication channels, including website, social media platforms, brochures, reports, and press releases.  
  • Write and edit compelling stories, articles, case studies, and other communication materials.
  • Ensure all communication materials are consistent with the project's branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Manage and update the project's social media accounts if needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets (print, electronic, and online).
  • Prepare communication materials for stakeholder meetings and presentations.
  • Facilitate information sharing and feedback mechanisms.
  • Prepare regular communication reports on activities, outputs, and impact.
  • Maintain a comprehensive archive of communication materials and activities.
  • Contribute to project progress reports as required.
  • The Communication Officer will report directly to the project coordinator.
