The Social Worker at Dar Al Amal’s Specialized Prevention Center supports at-risk children facing difficult social, psychological, or violence-related circumstances. The role includes case management, family support, awareness activities, school coordination, reporting, and participation in community outreach on child rights and protection.
The Social Worker at Dar Al Amal’s Specialized Prevention Center reports directly to the program coordinator and center director. The targeted beneficiaries are children at risk, including those facing difficult social conditions, child labor, exposure to violence, and psychological hardship.
Main Responsibilities

Complete social assessment forms.
Conduct home visits and individual interviews.
Develop and follow up on an individualized action plan for each child.
Support and guide families to help them fulfill their roles toward their children.
Form small support groups for beneficiaries and mothers.
Prepare, implement, and evaluate awareness and recreational activities.
Organize specialized thematic sessions based on the intellectual and age levels of beneficiaries and identified needs.
Organize community awareness campaigns on child and women’s rights.
Conduct and facilitate awareness sessions on violence and self-protection in schools.
Coordinate with teachers in the remedial education program.
Organize school visits and coordinate with teachers, principals, and health counselors.
Assess beneficiaries’ progress and identify challenges or barriers in order to intervene or provide guidance.
Administrative Responsibilities
Participate in training workshops.
Prepare monthly and annual reports.
Draft reports for donors and maintain records, grade books, and all required documents.
Manage family social files.
Prepare correspondence with parents.
Fully adhere to professional ethics and the Center’s Code of Conduct.
