Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the production team and DRI staff to conceptualize the talk show set/studio.
- Communicate with DRI staff to understand their needs and requests.
- Prepare a detailed plan of the talk show set/studio based on the budget range provided by DRI.
- Design the set to fit up to 5 people in front of the cameras.
- Prepare Execution drawings (Architectural and MEP) to be used for implementation.
- Prepare 3D perspectives showing the different angles of the set/studio.
- Prepare a cost estimate of the works to be implemented as per the prepared plans.
- Oversee and manage the implementation of the works on ground based on the prepared plans.
- Relate the set design to the branding image of the talk show.
- Prepare a mood board for the furniture, lights, decoration items and props needed.
- Commit to the start and submission dates agreed with DRI.
Key Skills, Experience and Education:
- Excellent knowledge of set creation, interior design, and/or interior architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Architecture and/interior design.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and design project management and coordination.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Creative mindset and artistic personality
- Technical understanding of lighting, photography, and filming is a plus.
- In contact with set builders and execution experts is a must.
