Chlorination

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany and works worldwide in the fields of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ provides viable forwarded solutions for political, economic, ecological and social development in a globalized world. Our corporate objective is to improve people’s lives on a sustainable basis. GIZ currently supports Lebanon in the education and water sector. For the water sector GIZ is looking for companies who can provide experts for water disinfection and chlorination systems. The objective of the planned assignment is to supervise installation of new chlorination systems and to provide training for the operational personal to handle chlorination systems. Moreover the company will have to asses, plan and supervise other drinking water infrastructure in the North, South and Beeka Water Establishment upon demand. In order to be qualified and shortlisted for a future tender the company must be able to provide experts with at least 15 years of practical experience in the water sector and particularly with the operation and installation of disinfection and chlorination systems in Lebanon. Proven working experience with the Lebanese Water Establishment is mandatory. Qualified companies interested to be shortlisted for a tender should submit a letter of interest with their registration certificate, history and CVs of proposed experts to info-lebanon@giz.de (mailto:info-lebanon@giz.de) no later than 2nd of January 2017.
