Expression of Interest for Consultant in landscape design for educational facilities/SUFA_GIZ

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) Consultant in landscape design for educational facilities The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is currently implementing its project Sustainable facility management in public schools (SUFA) in Lebanon. As part of this project GIZ intends to award a contract for a consultant in landscape design for educational facilities. The scope of work includes: 1) Design and plan interior renovation (architectural, MEP, structural if needed) and landscaping works (hard and soft scape) for Lebanese public schools 2) Coordinate, monitor and supervise construction works at Lebanese public schools 3) Technical support to GIZ advisor Tender procedure from invitation to tender until signing of contract is expected to take place between April 2020 and July 2020. Consulting services are expected to be performed and completed approximately within 24 months from signing of contract. To qualify for consideration in the tender procedure, interested companies are required to submit the following information and documents for eligibility assessment: 1) Official letter expressing interest 2) Filled EOI Questionnaire 3) Copy of company registration certificate 4) Copy of valid OEA registration 5) Short CVs for the key staff: 5.a. Landscape architect with at least 15 years’ experience in native species 5.b. MEP engineer with at least 10 years’ experience in implementing water& energy conservation measures (PV panels, rainwater harvesting tanks, solar pumping, etc.) 5.c. Structural engineer with at least 10 years’ experience 5.d. Site engineer with at least 5 years’ experience 5.e. Junior architect & engineers with at least 3 years’ experience 5.f. Admin or finance officer 6) References of works (at least 5 projects) of similar nature as specified above, performed within the last five (5) years by the company
