Background of the Project  

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), (GIZ) GmbH is implementing the Lebanon Cluster north at the Chekka Office location. The cluster will implement various projects in cooperation with different authorities. The procurement measure includes the following projects

• 21.4059.8-001.00 - Peaceful co-existence in refugee hosting communities in Lebanon
• 21.4061.4-001.00 - Support of disadvantaged peripheral neighborhoods through cash for work measures in Lebanon
• 16.2090.5-001.00 - Adjusting Water Resource Management

Context

Office equipment must be procured for the project staff to be hired for the above-mentioned project as part of the team's procurement measures at the Chekka office and CO Beirut. Adequate technical equipment with laptop, docking station, screen, keyboard and mouse, headset, heavy duty printer, desk printer, speaker, switch, firewall, access point, IT equipment, UPS, multi-socket strip board and IT Cabinet and cable termination are essential for the work.

Tasks to be performed by the contractor

The contractor is responsible for providing the following services:

• Provision and delivery of the office equipment detailed in the following table the technical characteristics of the article and the quantity should be delivered according to the specifications below:

The contract is awarded in lots (LOT 1- 3). Thus, the bidder has the possibility to bid on all or individual lots. The prerequisite is that per lot, all relevant devices are offered.

• The provider must send and install the equipment to the intended location (GIZ project office Chekka, North Lebanon). The price for this service shall be included in the unit price of the offer. The Annex 1 91160976_Annex1_Financial_Offer_IT-equipment must be used.
• A guaranteed document for concerned products must be delivered with the concerned equipment.
• Period of assignment: All items have to be delivered within three weeks after order.
• This assessment grid for the offers (ANNEX 2), will be employed to evaluate the eligibility of the technical offer. After successful completion, the cheapest bid will be awarded the contract.

 Requirements on the format of the bid

1. Technical Offer

The technical offer contains:

• The characteristics of the equipment
• Certificates of guarantee of the equipment
• Documents as requested in Bidders profile sheet

The evaluation of the offers will be done based on the “evaluation grid” in ANNEX 2.

2. Financial Offer

The financial offer shall be submitted on the form in ANNEX 1. The financial offer shall be submitted in USD (All taxes included). Therefore, the tender must also include the bank details and a valid extract from the commercial register from MOF.
