Context
This request aims to support farmers to form agricultural associations and to produce in accordance with market needs. AoA1 is implementing a project that is supporting 130 smallholder farmers through the support of 21 farmer groups through the implementation of clustering approaches mainly the Agribusiness cluster approach (ABC), the farmer field school, and farmers committees. All approaches aim at strengthening the horizontal and vertical relationships among stakeholders for the benefit of smallholder farmers across value chains. To ensure the complementarity of the implemented measures targeting the wheat and legume value chain actors in Zahle, West Bekaa and Hasbaya, the clusters will be provided with several machines and equipment that will support them in improving their agricultural practices, thus reducing their cost of production, which will increase their competitiveness and their capacity to meet the market needs successfully thus strengthening their resilience. Therefore, this request for tender is to identify local suppliers that provide, deliver, and install the needed equipment and items according to the specifications listed.
Tender requirements
The contractor is responsible for the provision, and delivery of the equipment and machines listed in the table below, having the technical characteristics of the items and the quantity to be delivered in accordance with the mentioned specifications. In addition, contractor is responsible for training end users on the proper use, functioning and maintenance of the below listed items.

Delivery Terms
Delivery shall be concluded within 1 month from the purchase order date. Failure to provide a one-month delivery period will result in the exclusion of the offer. A note of delivery period should be included in the offer.
Warrant
The supplier should provide a warranty period for all items of at least one year against mechanical failures.
A warranty document for the equipment must be delivered with the machines and equipment concerned.
The provider should handover the machines and equipment on site with full functionality.
The provider must prepare and deliver the items to the intended locations in the Bekaa and Hasbaya (detailed location will be communicated after PO signature). The price for this service shall not be covered by GIZ.

How to Apply
Interested bidders must submit a written request for the tender documents via email no later than Tuesday, 30 Sep 2025 at 14:00 (Beirut Local Time).
Requests received after the specified deadline will not be considered.

Refurbished items are not accepted.

GIZ reserves the right to request a sample check after the offer submission.
A penalty of 1/2 % of the total purchase order sum will be deducted on each delayed week calculated from the due date of delivery.
If you do not receive written notification within four weeks after the submission deadline, consider your offer unsuccessful.
No reimbursement will be provided for submitted offers.
Sending your offers to any other email address or non-compliance with any of the mentioned conditions will result in rejecting your participation in this tender.
All Products / items with Origin Russia or Belarus are not accepted by GIZ Office and Projects due to sanction list against Russia and Belarus.
