Job Profile

 

  1. Required qualifications, competences and experiencequirements

Formal Education: University Degree in Business Administration or Accounting


Professional Experience

  • At least one year of experience with donor-funded projects (NGOs, INGOs, etc.)
  • understanding of financial planning and accounting; project’s financial management and administration
  • Arabic native speaker, very good knowledge of English language
  • good working knowledge of ITC technologies and related software (Excel. Word, Outlook, internet applications)

 

  1. Responsibilities (according to instructions of Finance Professional)

 

  • Copying, scanning, filing,
  • Cash boxes management
  • Calculation of travel expenses
  • Invoice checking
  • Preparation of cash and bank payments

 

  1. Tasks
  1. Travel expenses
  • Checking and preparation of service travel request
  • Calculation of advanced payments
  • Assistance for ticket procurement
  • Checking, calculation and settlement of travel expenses

 

  1. Cash book holder
  • Reconciles the cash book and cash account daily
  • Reports any surplus or shortfall in cash
  • Request cash replenishment

 

  1. Other duties/additional tasks
  • Performs other duties and tasks at the request of management
