RFQ 04-07/22: Transportation of Snacks to Schools – North Lebanon and Akkar

• The snacks will be sourced by DCL (using one or more suppliers) and will be transferred to the schools to be stored in designated storage spaces.
• The snacks will be transferred to the schools in two large batches, each one covering the needs of each school for 3 weeks. As such, the first batch of the order should be transferred to the schools between the 27th of July and the 1st of August, and the second batch should be transferred around the 17th of August 2022.
• Contract duration: 1.5 months (6 weeks, 1st of August to 8th of September 2022).
• The selected supplier is requested to:
  • Receive the snack cartons from the warehouse of DCL’s supplier(s) (address to be confirmed later, but most probably in North Lebanon/Akkar) and load them on trucks (porters to be provided by the supplier). The snacks will be received in two batches (the first one at the end of July, the second one after mid-August).
  • Transfer the cartons to the schools as per the agenda that DCL will provide (at least half of the schools should be served in one day). The snacks will be transferred in two batches (the first one at the end of July, the second one, after mid-August). The distribution of each batch to the schools may be completed in one or, maximum, two days, depending on the requirements of the program.
