Area Monitor

DCL is looking for full time Area Monitors in Akkar, Tripoli, Zgharta, Batroun, and Bcharre Areas who will be responsible for monitoring various aspects of the WFP School Snacks 22-23 Project in Public Schools in terms of monitoring the distribution of meals, and for following-up on the progress of the project's implementation.

Job description:

• Monitor and facilitate the distribution of snacks in assigned schools.
• Act as DCL Focal Point with the assigned schools’ directors.
• Resolve challenges that arouse during the distribution, and take preventive action.
• Liaise with school directors and make arrangements for smooth distribution.
• Collaborate with WFP representatives.
• Supervise School Distribution Staff.
• Report daily, weekly, and monthly to the Project Manager.

Qualification

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (experience within an NGOs is a plus);
• Knowledge of humanitarian and NGO principles;
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially in Excel is a requirement.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.
• Must have a car and valid driving license.

Duration of Contract

• 3 months (October 2022 till December 2022)
