Job Overview:         

The Grant Writer and Fundraising Coordinator will be instrumental in developing and implementing fundraising strategies aimed at securing essential financial support. This role encompasses researching funding opportunities, crafting persuasive grant proposals, coordinating various fundraising initiatives, and monitoring project outcomes to ensure the sustainability and growth of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

-Secure at least 2 new donors/partners within a 6-month time frame with a minimum project contribution of 0.5 million per annum.

-Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve organizational goals.

-Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to engage donors and maximize contributions.

-Collaborate with DCL to create effective marketing materials and communications.

-Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors, stakeholders, and community partners.

- Identify and evaluate funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations.

-Write, edit, and submit persuasive grant proposals that align with organizational objectives.

-Monitor and report on the progress of fundraising efforts and grant applications, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.

-Collect and analyze data from funded projects to prepare detailed reports for funders, showcasing the effectiveness of programs.

 

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

-Over 3 years of proven experience in grant writing and fundraising within the nonprofit sector.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with fundraising databases or grant management software.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

-Fluency in English and Arabic.
