The Hygiene Promoter is in charge of implementing the activities and monitoring the rehabilitation on the field level. He/she will also conduct surveys, fill relevant documents and assessments. He/she should maintain a transparent relation representing DPNA with the donor.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducting needs assessment and coordination within DPNA, the donor and the community
Supporting the establishment of WaSH committees and building their capabilities
Designing the educational materials delivered at the awareness sessions: content of posters, educational tools, lectures and presentations
Distributing of family and student hygiene kits in relation to the risk behaivor noticed and the delivered messages
Implementing hygiene promotion campaign/activities in the target communities, primarily aimed at women but also reaching out to men and children. The campaign will focus on the link between hygiene and water borne disease, domestic and personal hygiene and the maintenance of water and sanitation facilities.
Conducting Baseline, End-line, and KAP and Post Distribution Monitoring surveys
Ensuring proper documentation of project documents both in hard and soft copies
Submitting weekly report for the Project Manager
Skills & Qualifications
University degree or equivalence in experience working with NGOs and communities
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in coordinating projects
Minimum of 2 years in Social Field
