Center Supervisor

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Supervise the remedial education center in Rashidiyeh camp
• Coordinate and follow up visits to UNRWA schools, Community and Community Based Organizations
• Prepare, in coordination with center staff, work plans with clear objectives and achievement benchmarks, long-term priorities, implementation plans and evaluation tools
• Update, in collaboration with team, the outputs of the program and propose adjustments if necessary for on-going activities
• In collaboration with the Data Responsible Person and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer of Terre Des Hommes- Italy (TDH-Italy), ensure monitoring and evaluation plans are understood by Center Team and the data is collected in a timely manner and is of good quality
• Support logistics processes to procure, store and distribute stock, supplies and services for the timely delivery of project objectives
• Follow up visits to the beneficiaries
• Follow up on all activities related to the project
• Developing intervention strategies to increase academic success
• Assist teachers and administrators in dealing with behavioral or attitude issues by communicating with students/parents
• Maintain case files and reports to track student problems and progress and to recognize patterns in behavior
• Ensure a coordinated and collaborative approach is undertaken among Project Partners at Field Level
• Assist Project Coordinator in organizing various workshops, training and Planning
• Update and Report the Project Coordinator on a regular basis about the progress and constraints and try to solve implementation problems if any in consultation, advice and guidance of Project Coordinator
• Supervise the activities of staff at field, including administrative work as requested by Project Coordinator
• Maintain close coordination with Stakeholders, NGOs and other Local bodies within Project Area and keep them informed of the project activities
• Participate in all training offered by Nabaa, Terre Des Homes – Italy & UNICEF
• Ensure a strict adherence to Child Protection Policy including respect for confidentiality, and adopting a child-centered approach
• Prepare monthly/quarterly report and other plans as required
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned
