I. About Developmental Action without Borders, Naba'a:
Developmental Action without Borders - Naba’a, is a Lebanese NGO operational since 2001. Registered under the Ministry of Interior (no. 104/AD), Naba’a is dedicated to serving all marginalized communities in Lebanon, especially children, without distinction of nationality, color, race, or religion. This includes communities within camps and gatherings in Lebanon, as well as local Lebanese communities.

II. Nabaa's Employment Screening and Protection Protocol:
Developmental Action without Borders, Naba’a, does not employ individuals who are married to children (persons under 18). Naba’a enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, abuse of authority, and discrimination. All prospective candidates must undergo thorough reference and background checks which will mainly verify employment history, professional performance, and adherence to the aforementioned policies. Furthermore, the selected candidates must provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening or an equivalent criminal record check as a condition of employment.
Key Responsibilities of Community Worker
1. Project Implementation
- Implement project activities in line with the approved work plan, timelines, and objectives.
- Ensure effective and smooth execution of field activities by adhering to project guidelines, tools, and methodologies.
2. Outreach Activities
- Conduct outreach activities to raise community awareness about the project’s objectives through field visits.
- Promote the project’s goals and eligibility criteria within the community to attract potential beneficiaries.
3. Implementation of Awareness Sessions and Campaigns
- Organize and facilitate awareness sessions, campaigns, and community initiatives within the designated areas.
- Plan session content in alignment with the work plan and materials agreed upon during training and preparatory sessions.
- Ensure all logistical arrangements for sessions are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collect and maintain proper means of verification (MoVs) and document all sessions professionally.
- Coordinate and implement campaign related activities in terms of logistics and field coordination and direct implementation
4. Data Management
- Accurately collect, enter, and review beneficiary data to ensure completeness, consistency, and reliability using appropriate tools (e.g., Kobo, Excel).
- Review the quality of collected and referred data and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to data protection and confidentiality standards.
5. Reporting & Feedback
- Identify and report field challenges, risks, and lessons learned to the Field Officer
- Provide regular feedback and field insights to support continuous project improvement.
6. Coordination with PHCCs (Primary Health Care Centers)
- Assist in coordinating with PHCCs in collaboration with the Field Officer.
- Refer individuals with identified health conditions to appropriate PHCCs following established procedures.
7. Training and Meetings
- Attend internal and external trainings, workshops, and meetings to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to project implementation.
8. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor, in line with the project’s objectives.
9. Commitment to Nabaa’s Policies
- Comment and high adherence to Naba’a code of conduct and protection policies such as: PSEAH, Child Protection and Safeguarding, Complaint and Feedback Mechanisms and Anti-Corruption Policy
II. Minimum Qualifications
A. Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.
B. Professional Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, preferably in fieldwork.
