Developmental Action without Borders - Naba’a, is a Lebanese NGO operational since 2001. Registered under the Ministry of Interior (no. 104/AD), Naba’a is dedicated to serving all marginalized communities in Lebanon, especially children, without distinction of nationality, color, race, or religion. This includes communities within camps and gatherings in Lebanon, as well as local Lebanese communities.

I. Responsibilities & Duties of Field Officer:
1. Educational Planning and Development:
- Develop an educational action plan which includes the project objectives and quality educational methods.
- Create detailed program plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with the organization's educational mission and objectives
2. Support Outreach and Registration Activities:
- Monitor and facilitate the outreach and registration process for students to ensure smooth and effective implementation.
- Oversee data entry to guarantee timely and accurate documentation of student information.
- Ensure project targets are consistently met across all implementation cycles.
- Coordinate with local stakeholders and community actors to support and enable the effective delivery of activities.
3. Curriculum and Resource Development:
- Work with project coordinator and teachers to develop and update curriculum materials for literacy and numeracy and remedial support program
- Ensure that educational resources, teaching materials, and tools are up-to-date and relevant to learners' needs
4. Staff Supervision and Capacity Building:
- Supervise teachers in terms of quality teaching and PSS tools to discuss the areas for improvement
- Conduct regular feedback meetings with teachers and project coordinators and provide ongoing support in terms of learning and PSS sessions.
- Conduct trainings on specialized educational techniques and tools for teachers in coordination with the project coordinator
5. Supporting the Educational staff in terms of Activities:
- Covering the role of teachers in the classroom during urgent circumstances
- Supporting the teachers in addressing the students’ academic needs and areas for improvement by developing individual plans
6. Program Implementation:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of educational programs, ensuring that activities are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate program progress, making necessary adjustments to meet program goals and outcomes.
7. Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, including attendance, assessments, and learner progress.
- Prepare regular reports on program performance, outcomes, and challenges for project coordinator.
8. Safety and Protection:
- Presenting complete commitment to Nabaa’s code of conduct, PSEAH, Child Protection, Anti-corruption, General Safeguarding and complaint mechanism.
- Guaranteeing children’s safety and security on all levels
9. Other duties and responsibilities:
- Performing other relevant duties and responsibility if assigned related to field.
II. Minimum Qualifications:
1. Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field
2. Professional Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in implementing education or child-focused projects in field settings.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and in inclusive education settings.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection principles, and psychosocial support approaches.
3. Technical Skills:
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor quality educational activities
- Competency in report writing and computer / digital literacy
- Familiarity with non-formal education tools, learning assessments, and curriculum adaptation.
- Understanding of referral pathways and education-related case management.
4. Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, teachers, and community stakeholders.
- Excellent facilitation and coordination skills in group and individual settings.
- Empathy, patience, and a student-centered approach to learning.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in challenging environments.
- Team spirit, cultural sensitivity, and respect for diversity.
