Digital Transformation Project Manager

To ensure all of the necessary deliverables for a project are completed and handed over on time and on budget. He/She is responsible for making sure the project aligns with business goals.
To lead and manage the planning, implementation and monitoring of DOT Lebanon’s Digital Transformation initiatives with municipalities and CBOs. 
To supervise and evaluate strategies, work plans and capacity building plans design, conception and implementation.

Project Management:

  • Manage the planning and implementation of the project according to the approved proposal
  • Manage the budget planning and expenses according to the approved budget
  • Ensure compliance with the overall grant requirements and coordinate with donor’s representative on a regular basis
  • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the project according to approved stated objectives, plans of action, budgets and record progress
  • Develop networks with all needed organizations in the sector of intervention
  • Lead and supervise coordination with partner municipalities and CBOs in local communities to plan, implement and monitor the project
  • Ensure a daily follow-up and monitoring with the field staff in the different areas of implementation
  • Ensure proper coordination on a regular basis with the Finance Manager, the M&E Manager and the Communications Manager for meeting all deadlines in a proper way
  • Ensure the proper and timely rollout, data collection and analysis of assessment and diagnostic in coordination with the Field Staff, the Strategy Consultant & the Technology unit
  • Ensure the proper and timely acquisition, deployment and rollout of different systems and platforms in coordination with the Field Staff, the Strategy Consultant & the Technology unit
  • Ensure the proper and timely design, conception and implementation of technology strategies and work plans in coordination with the Strategy Consultant
  • Ensure the proper and timely design and rollout of partner organizations’ staff capacity building plans in coordination with the Strategy Consultant
  • Finalize the proper documentation of projects’ phases and learning for end of projects handover to partner organizations

Reporting, Administrative and Communications tasks:

  • Ensure all M&E data are collected based on DOT Lebanon’s requirements
  • Ensure proper information is provided to the M&E team for all reports
  • Prepare a list of items to be purchased and all recruitment/consultants needed for the project in coordination with the Procurement Officer
  • Provide success stories on a regular basis to the Communications Department

Other:

  • Once needed and on an occasional basis, carry out public relations activities, which include accompanying foreign visitors and donors to the project
  • Represent DOT Lebanon when requested and necessary
  • Perform other tasks as the need arises
  • Lead, support and maintain the development of proper tools, templates, SOPs and guides for the DT framework
  • Lead the business development process of the DT framework including but not limited to mappings, market assessments, landscape analysis
  • Lead, support and coordinate any research including but not limited to DT trends, methodologies, approaches and frameworks
  • Participate, follow and engage in DT events, networks and/or working groups
