Field Coordinator Based In Akkar

COORDINATION RESPONSIBILITIES - Support in the recruitment of community interns- Support in the preparation of the ToT for community trainers (including logistics, infrastructure, trainer coordination)- Coaching of community trainers on ongoing development of key skills, knowledge, and attributes as well as addressing emergent learning needs- Mentor and coach community trainers to resolve issues and challenges as they arise during their internship- Ensure that interns/field coordinators are consistently fulfilling their roles, completing program delivery tasks and achieving milestones- Ensures interns have their program funded stipends and resources needed to be successful- Work with DOT staff to launch and implement the DOT training program in our partner training centers Establishes and maintains positive rapport with community partners and looks for strategies to work more effectively with partners- Submit needed reports and/or information in regards to the launching, implementation, reporting of the program- Assist in the logistics and preparations required for all project events, training, activities, etc., etc.- Regular reporting to the program officer on work progress- Distributes baseline and evaluation forms to community trainers- Monitors intern-directed training sessions and makes suggestions to interns to improve training delivery- Attend and participate in capacity building trainings, both online, locally and internationally- Perform other tasks as the need arises. COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITIES -Helps community trainers to use the website effectively-Assist in developing project communication materials as Banners, Posters, Brochure, etc.-Assist in the development of project success stories and press releases Support the program officer developing the communications and pictures archives system-Develop and coordinate relations with the community trainers, local partner and stakeholders (municipalities, NGO, etc.) WORK CONTACTS Close collaboration with the DOT Lebanon staff, Partner staff, and Field community trainers. Reports to Pogram Officer. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Ability to work virtually from home-Part time contractor for one year- Ability to travel to the Akkar villages at least once a week for field visits- Diploma in business administration, social sciences or social work- Two years experience in a similar related job.- Good coaching and facilitation with interpersonal communication skills.- Computer literate: Internet and computer programs- Willing and able to quickly learn new technology and communications concepts- Familiar with web and social networking applications and concepts- Willingness to participate in field activities/surveys and travel to remote areas within the country- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to train / coach community trainers and give presentations.- Lives in the Akkar area- Ability to cope and work under pressure.- Always connected to the internet
