DOT transforms and supports young women and men, as they become leaders of economic and education change in their societies.    Position Description: As a Mobile Application Trainer, your main responsibility is to support the Implementation of DOT’s Youth Digital Program in Lebanon, working from the local Innovation Lab and on Field supporting a group of Youth on Mobile Apps Development. S/he will demonstrate 21st century skills in assigned Innovation Labs across Lebanon, as s/he will be working proactively and collaborating with Youth and partners on creation and developing Mobile Apps. As a Mobile App trainer will work closely with the Area Manager and will be working independently and managing your own administrative work and working to deadlines.   If you’re passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps, we would like to meet you.   Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include: Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support) Produce fully functional mobile applications in collaboration with Youth hubs Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance Design interfaces to improve user experience Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols Stay up-to-date with new technology trends    Position Qualification & Skills Requirements: Minimum of undergraduate degree in computer science/software engineering; information systems, mathematics, MIS, or similar degrees At least one years’ experience as a trainer Experienced with Android System Good level of programming and related technical skills Ability to work under pressure Excellent and strong communications and facilitation skills Proven work experience as a developer High organizational and time-management skills Creative and ingenious In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude Ability to perform in a team environment The position will see you reflecting excellent people’s, communication, and ICT skills, this position The ideal candidate will be a proactive and efficient multi-tasker. This candidate will like to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic working environment, detailed oriented, innovative in finding solutions and thinking outside the box.
