1. About the Organization
Donia for Sustainable Development is a Lebanese non-profit organization committed to empowering girls and youth in Tripoli through inclusive education, civic engagement, and digital access. As part of its TechGirls Project, Donia SD is seeking a qualified Computer Skills Trainer to lead a comprehensive digital literacy program for adolescent girls in a safe and supportive learning environment.
2. Training Overview
The training will be delivered to four separate groups of adolescent girls, focusing on foundational computer skills and digital empowerment.
- Total Sessions: 80 sessions (2 hours each)
- Group Structure: 4 groups × 20 sessions per group
- Group Size: Approximately 15 girls per group
- Timeframe: November 2025 – February 2026
- Training Days: To be scheduled in coordination with Donia SD
- Location: Donia SD Center – Tripoli, Lebanon
3. Training Content
The curriculum will cover the following core topics:
- Introduction to Computers & Windows Operating System
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Internet Use: Email, Search Engines, Cybersecurity Basics
- Social Media Platforms & Fundamentals of Digital Marketing
4. Trainer Profile – Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should demonstrate a strong combination of technical expertise and interpersonal competencies, including:
Technical Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivering digital literacy training
- ICDL or Microsoft Office Specialist certification (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet tools
- TOT (Training of Trainers) certification is preferred
Soft Skills & Experience
- Prior experience working with adolescent girls or youth groups
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging classroom
- Effective time management and group coordination
5. Trainer Responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive sessions tailored to the age group
- Submit weekly progress reports
- Submit an end-of-training report for each group.
- Ensure a youth-friendly, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
- Coordinate with the project team for scheduling and feedback
- Adhere to Donia SD’s safeguarding and child protection policies
6. Application Requirements
Interested trainers must submit the following documents:
- Updated CV highlighting relevant experience
- Technical proposal outlining training methodology and approach
- Financial proposal specifying cost per session / group

7. Safeguarding Commitment
Donia for Sustainable Development is deeply committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all participants. Selected trainers will be required to attend a safeguarding orientation and must comply with Donia SD’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policies throughout the training period.
