Accoutant

The accountants responsibility is the financial administration of the relief program. This responsibility includes: ·         Ensuring accurate, complete, and timely reporting; ·         Monitoring project budgets; ·         Developing and implementing process improvements; ·         Filing and data entry; ·         Providing monthly financial reports to the Dorcas country office, complying with the requirements of the tax authorities; ·         Communicate trends, gaps and constrains to the Dorcas office;  ·         Ensure project compliance with governmental, (international) humanitarian and donor standards.    Job requirements: ·         Attention to detail and organized; ·         Proactive attitude, flexible personality, strong interpersonal and communication skills; ·         Knowledge on tax legislation and accounting principles; ·         Adherence to the mission and vision of Dorcas; ·         Motivated by a spirit of service; ·         Familiar with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook ·         English speaking is an asset.
