Project officer

• Plan activities on the field with staff
• Monitoring and Evaluation of project schedules and budgets.
• Preparing progress reports
• Liaising with key stakeholders with coordination with senior staff and management 
• Correspondence and clear communication
• Meeting with the staff for updates about the project
• Assisting in the planning to the implementation of the project
• Train and guide staff on child protection issues
• Log, manage and analyze information on the progress of the project
• Attending meetings with stakeholders and minutes taking
• Sharing with the supervisor the progress of the project and any changes occurring to the implementation
• Reporting on a weekly basis
• Making sure the objectives are reached including field visits

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years relevant field experience and at least 1 year program management experience;
• Experience working in Lebanon and with child protection programs;
• Experience with the  coordination system;
• Settled character with ability to cope with stressful, delicate and possibly unstable situations;
• Proactive attitude, flexible personality, strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Experience in working with partner organisations;
• Fluent command of English and Arabic;
• Adherence to the mission and vision of Dorcas.
